Viet Aid Housing Development

The VietAID Housing Development brings new life to Dorchester’s Four Corners neighborhood through a two-building mixed-use project that creates much-needed affordable housing and expands opportunities for local and minority-owned businesses. Supported by funding from DHCD, the development delivers 35 new rental units and 3,000 square feet of community-serving commercial space, helping catalyze ongoing revitalization efforts across the Fairmount Corridor.
Engineering Foundations for Affordable Housing & Neighborhood Renewal
Samiotes provided comprehensive civil engineering, land surveying, and permitting services to support the design and construction of this community-driven development.
Key contributions included:

Completing an ALTA land title survey across 10 combined parcels

Designing site grading and stormwater systems that meet Boston regulatory requirements

Preparing an Activity & Use Limitation (AUL) plan to manage environmental conditions
