CVS Pharmacies

Cleveland Circle – Brighton
Samiotes provided civil engineering, land surveying, and environmental permitting services for converting a gas station to a modern retail pharmacy at 1927 Beacon Street in the Cleveland Circle section of Brighton. This project was completed as a core and shell design for development by CVS Corporation. Samiotes designed the water system, sanitary sewer, storm water management, grading and hardscape, as well as providing Construction Administration for the project. SCI also performed an existing conditions survey, which was the basis for the Design and Construction Plans and prepared as-built plans as required by the Client and the City. This process included negotiations and signoffs from the MBTA due to the site’s retaining walls (existing and proposed) close proximity to the D Line tracks. Additional approvals were obtained from Boston Water and Sewer Commission and Inspectional Services.

Wayland CVS Options
Samiotes provided civil engineering and land surveying services for potential development by CVS Corporation. Samiotes designed the site to convert the existing mixed-use development to meet CVS' needs, plus gained Board of Health Approval for a septic system at a site on Main Street that did not move forward due to overarching rights issues (exclusive of SCI involvement). Samiotes also performed construction layout survey services, for the CVS constructed on Boston Post Road (Route 20) withing the flood plain making precise grade layout essential.
