Samiotes utilizes Reality Capture technology to produce highly detailed drawings. Data collected by the laser scanner is translated into a visual representation utilizing point cloud technology (i.e. Reality Capture). Building façade features such, roof drains and utility meters are captured in a 3-D picture that can be used to generate detailed profile plans to supplement topographic plans and provide a base for conceptual planning and beyond. Each scan contains millions of points of data that are organized together to provide an accurate 3-D model of the site, its buildings, walkways, landscaping and all the details visible to anyone on site.
